Domain Transfer

A Domain Transfer- is a process of transferring the domain name record from the management under one registrar to another registrar. A registrar is the only responsible for the management of your domain records; this transfer should be not affecting your website, relevant email or DNS.
(No Downtime)

Procedure

1. Domain transfer will take 7 days (maximum) to process
2. Request authorization code/EPP Code to your current registrar.

Option 1
You may login to your current registrar account, using your Domain User name and password, and request for “authorization code. You have to turn off the domain protection (if there is) or Domain Unlock if it is Lock, before you can request authorization code from the registrar.

Option 2

If you don’t have the access to your Domain panel, you just simply need to email your Current provider using the authorize email address and request for the ‘’EPP CODE’’ and advise them to Unlock the Domain if it’s Lock and turn off protection if there is.
Reference: The Auto-Info Code is a unique code generated on per-domain basis and it is used for authorization or confirmation of a transfer request. Some registrars offer facilities for you to generate and manage your own Auto Info code. In other cases, you will need to contact the registrar directly to obtain it. The registrar must provide you with the Auto-Info code within 5 calendar days of your request.
